Leasing is the action of renting out parcels of land or subsections of those parcels of land.

You can also lease out rooms of a house, or rooms within a commercial property such as a tavern, whereby you can rent out rooms for passing travellers to rest within.

It should be noted that any buildings or infrastructures built on leased land will still be legally owned by the leaser, even if built by the person leasing that land.
