The Akashic Records is a place within Elyria which houses those souls which are not currently possessed by a spark of life or a body of Mann.
It is said that Angelica cursed Mann, and cast him out of Haven as he was a being of darkness. She created the Akashic Records so Mann's deeds would be recorded. It's said that through his deeds or misdeeds he could provide evidence of his goodness, and thus return to Haven.[1]
When a player first creates their character they will be able to select a soul within the Akashic Records. Together, a soul and a spark of life create a living being for the player to form a character within Elyria.
